He does so with a new series of collaborations with young talents on 20/20 Vision, starting with Marlon Lopez. 'Patang' is slow, snaking dub with glitchy synth patches and melodic bass. 'Feel The Rhythm' has a swagger and syncopation to it that is perfect for this label, with bold bass and hints of Kerri Chandler's kick to the kicks, all run through with some woozy late-night synth work. ”First coming to prominence purely as a drum & bass artist, with the likes of Metalheadz, Digital's Function and Klute's Commercial Suicide labels all over his material, veteran Slough producer Amit has, in more recent years, spread his stylistic base via his Amar label to take in deep dubstep and a touch of acid as well as ruffneck junglist behaviour. This 7", his first for more than five years, is heavyweight dub business, with echo chambers set to maximum dubbage and shuddering sub causing potential structural damage to all but the sturdiest buildings in a five mile radius. 'Dem Rude', with its gunshots and sonic soup, takes the A-side, while the flip tune 'Hush Up' marries more aural abstractions with another stepping rhythm, the hi hats fizzing and sizzling like they're encased in a deep fat fryer. Great to have this vastly underrated underground trooper back in the ranks - and well worth the wait.”

”'White Series #4' marks the debut EP of Marc Feldmann and Dominik André as a producer duo. The record opens with 'Natural Oscillation', a hypnotic techno piece where flowing percussion meets subtle trance influences. 'A Breeze of Mistral' builds on this energy with layered repetition and a deep pulse that unfolds gradually, drawing the listener further in. On the flip side, Audrey Danza reinterprets Natural Oscillation with a direct, dancefloor-focused approach. She sharpens the groove, raises the tempo, and pushes the track forward with her signature, driving drums and a tightly locked kick, transforming the original's hypnotic flow into a no-frills cut. The EP slows the pace with 'Discernible Rhythms', a reflective, 80s-influenced synth chugger that adds warmth and restraint to the record. ”DJ Subaru returns to Palms Trax’s CWPT with ‘Dog’, showcasing three tracks of offbeat dancefloor material that encompasses throbbing italo, sticky indie dancefloors and snarling, timeless punk. Following on from their 2024 EP ‘Lots of Love’, the short time since has seen the DJ and producer rising on their own terms, scoring Tune of The Week from BBC 6Music’s ‘Introducing’, playing multiple gigs at Berghain/Panorama Bar and elsewhere around Europe, always returning to hone their cultishly adored Pleasuremaxxx party in their home city of Leeds. 「DEERHUNTERのフロントマンでソロプロジェクトATLAS SOUNDとしても知られるアトランタのミュージシャンBradford CoxがArthur Russellのドキュメンタリー『Wild Combination:A Portrait of Arthur Russell』やPee-wee Hermanを演じたPaul Reubensの生涯とそのキャリアを描いた最新作『Pee-wee as Himself』などでも知られるニューヨークの映画監督Matt Wolfの依頼を受けて制作。２０１４年にアメリカで公開された同監督の映画『TEENAGE』に合わせ監督とエディターが、Bradfordが初期のカットのみを見て短期間で作ったという膨大の曲の中から選出し、２０１４年３月１１日に サウンドトラックとしてデジタルリリースのみで発表されたのが今作。 映画は『England’s Dreaming』の著者としても知られる音楽ジャーナリストJon Savageの原作『Teenage:The Prehistory of Youth Culture１８７５−１９４５』に基づき当時の貴重なアーカイブ・フッテージと共に１９ 世紀後半から２０世紀前半にかけてのユースカルチャーを観る者と一緒に発見していく型破りなドキュメンタリー映画で、俳優陣によるナレーション以外は無音であり全編がほぼモノクロの映像と音楽のみで構成されている。監督のMatt Wolfは当時のインタビューで「早い段階から歴史的な映像とBradford Coxのオーガニックな手法で作られた現代的な音楽を合わせる事を考えていた。」と話しており、このサウンドデザインがいかに映画にとって大きな役割を担っているかが伺える。その厳選されたトラックには８０年代のニューヨーク、非営利のアートコミュニティスペースThe Kitchenに幼少期から立ち歌っていたという当時１２歳のボーカルChandra Oppenheimがフロントを務めたポストパンクバンドCHANDRA 『Kate」の１曲を除き、他は全てBradford Coxが作曲したインストゥルメンタル１６曲が収められており、淡いサウンドウェーブが呼応する神秘的な 「Natural Harp Monitor」アンティークの映写機を回しているかのようなノイズと放蕩なリバーブが混沌の時代を想像させる「Skeleton Disk Loop」跳ねるようなミドルテンポのリズムと遠心力のあるシグナル、終盤のアウトロで動に転じるドラミングが破天荒な「Snow on Cape」キラキラとした電子音の粒子が宙に舞って溶け込むような「New Prairie Blackout Pattern」重厚で不穏で心が騒めく音世界の「Canopy」ダイナミックでトリッピーな「Daphne Duck」牧歌的で多彩なサウンドが爽やかにループしていく「Harlem Crepescular」チャンキーなメロディと賑やかなシェイカーの重なりが楽しい「Paprika Expose」テープリールを逆回転させて徐々に崩壊していくような荒涼とした「Pastel Ruins」甘く溶ける夢心地なムードの音の振動が同期して広がっていく「Milk Glass Metronome」アンティークのオルゴールをひらいたような「Planetarium」快活で陽気な音色がスイングする「Doctor October」 穏やかで暖かいムードのループが心地いい「Wireless Fantasy No.1」ロマンティックで耳に心地よいギターのリフレインが温度をあげてしなやかに浸透していく「Dream Logic」脈打つような鼓動に閃光が絡み合い心踊る「Spanish Plastic」煌めきのある旋律にぐいぐいと解放されて突き進む疾走感、まるでティーンの高揚のように温度が加速していく「VHS Dream(TEENAGE)」 でラストを締めくくる。ダブ、アンビエント、クラウトロック、 Daphne Oram、Laurie Spigel や Vladimir Ussachevskyらの影響もみられる実験的で遊び心が潜むエレクトロニクスと、音楽的な要素もバラエティに富んだ、魅力的で粒ぞろいな楽曲にはそれぞれコンセプトも感じられ、プリミティブに音を何層も重ねつつモダンなポップネスを再構築するBradford Coxの高い演奏センスと創造力が溢れる程ふんだんに詰まったアルバム。 DEERHUNTER、ATLAS SOUNDの往年のリスナーには勿論、広く色々な人達に知ってもらって是非とも長く愛聴されて欲しい。」
