DubXanne - Police In Dub (Echo Beach) LP
”Originally released on CD in 2008 with a total number of 13 tracks, this Dub re-working of tracks by The Police (endorsed by the group's management) had been followed by a limited run vinyl version in 2015. That vinyl version (barcode 4047179136310, Echo Beach number EB067LP) contained eight of the original 13 CD songs, two bonus CDs and had been rather expensive. And had not been available for a while. This here new version is strictly limited to 300 copies. It does not contain the former two bonus CDs. It's just a black vinyl release for a lower price.. From the legendary Big Youth (vocals on So Lonely) over to one of Stings best friends from the early The Beat days… Ranking Roger from The Beat (and recently on stage with Police in Manchester). From the most poppy vocalist ever Earl 16 (massive on Leftfield and Dreadzone albums…!) to the number one Dub poet Benjamin Zephaniah and back to EASED from the legendary German dancehall reggae act SEEED…!!! and last but not least … JAZZ Min.. the fairy tale vocals on Wrapped Around Your Fingers and the DubXanne´s I Trees… (backroundsingers from Gentleman)”
