”The passage of time is never simply a straight line from "A" to "B". Causal relationships weave themselves through its fabric in ways that can never be fully predicted. Over the course of some four decades, particular threads have been woven together in ways and for reasons which, on the surface, may seem disparate and unconnected, yet in the grand scheme of things, surprising patterns emerge that might never have been previously anticipated. The manifestation of this artifact is one such example, encompassing elements from prior incarnations spanning vast expanses of experience. Somehow, these particular facets have formed this specific crystallization and found their way into the world in an arrangement that was never intended, yet somehow seems destined.
