”ILL TING is the union of Numa Crew, representing bass music in Italy and beyond, and Ensi, that is probably one of the most respected rappers in Italy at any level. It is a project conceived and dedicated to raves, parties, live music and people. This EP is a flag, an idea, a movement. A team that weaves different sounds together to convey the same message of freedom, musical above all, but which also conceals deeper facets. The freedom of a rock-solid rapper like Ensi to embrace a new sound and the freedom of Numa Crew to tailor the most suitable outfit for the occasion. The journey starts with the ‘Old Skool’ Grime flavored title track ‘ILL TING’ alongside Numa Crew’s mcs XL Mad & Ninjaz MC. The second track is entitled ‘ALLARME’, a solid drum’n’bass track, where our main character Ensi is supported by a member of the Numa Recordings family, Brixton’s Killa P. Tracks 3 and 4, ‘BUSINESS IS BUSINESS' and ‘VABBÈ DAI’, on the other hand, lean more towards rhythms around 130 bpm. Then we come to the last track, entitled ‘SNIPER’, probably the darkest track on the EP, with hip hop and halftime vibes, which also features XL Mad on the mic. All of Numa Crew's musical worlds are hit and Ensi demonstrates infallible aim.”
